What Causes Frequent Bowel Movements With Abdominal Pain?

Hello, my question is about my husband. He is 37. He is constantly in the bathroom. He seems to have bowel problems. This has been going on for more than a year, but I cannot get him to a Dr, he doesn t want to go. He literally goes 5-10 times a day! He also has stomach pain sometimes. He has to plan his entire day around the bathroom. Sometimes he won t eat if there isn t a bathroom close by.

Hi...Can understand your concern..As per your query about your husband's frequent bowel movement and abdominal pain looks like symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome..sometimes in stressed conditions it aggravates more..To confirm the condition you need to have some investigation done like abdominal ultrasonography and colonoscopy and consult a physician ..Beside this you need to give him probiotics and yoghurt regularly with a healthy and predominantly a non spicy vegetarian diet.I hope the information helps you.Take care.
