What Causes Frequent Bowel Movements?

I have been having frequent and unusual bowel movements for the last 4-5 days along with disturbed sleep and waking with a spacey out of body feeling which gets better as the day goes on. Recently had a colonoscopy and was cleared. The one word on my results was diverticulosis. Recently had a doctor appt. also. Have been having much gas, belching and bloated for some time now.
