Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Over the last two days, in the morning and at night I am getting a sensation to urinate a lot or a burning sensation when I urinate. This only tends to happen when I m not passing a lot of water. I have recently had oral sex with my partner within the last week but these signs have only just started. None of us have any STD S as we both got checked before we had sex for the first time. I also keep myself clean etc. What could this be?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
If you have frequency & burning in urine while drinking less water... it's due to concentrated urine... irritating bladder. Drinking sufficient water (10 -12 glasses) daily would prevent bladder irritation/chances of bladder inflammation & the symptoms also.
Another possibility is a bladder/urethral infection itself... this needs to be excluded by urine examination (culture & sensitivity if needful) followed by specific medication as per need. Please consult your family physician.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale,
