Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi Doc.. My daughter is 14 Months old now and is suffering from frequent cold and cough.. This time the cough is there for 2 weeks.. and running nose too.. she goes to day care and is bottle fed. Are these the main causes.. or is there anything to worry. My Pediatrician gave her asthalin, nebulization..
As per your query, your daughter has a frequent cold and cough which is mainly because of poor immunity of body leading to respiratory infection. Need not to worry.
You should visit pediatrician once and get it examined. Go for regular blood tests and start with the proper course of anti-inflammatory medication.
You should give child plenty of fluids. Give your child diet that can improve immunity. Give child proper rest without any discomfort. Give water after every few mins.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Harry Maheshwari, Dentist
