I am not a smoker. I have had year round allergies for years. I also have a frequent cough involving the upper airways which seems to be activated by a trigger. I have been dealing with a reactive type airway issue for a few years secondary to cigarette smoke. Can you tell me if PFT s are the appropriate way to diagnose this issue?
