What Causes Frequent Episodes Of Nausea And Vertigo?

I just recently had a episode of nausea, and vertigo, it was the most scariest thing I ever had. I have had already been to the ER, and they even took a MRI and could not find anything and also have seen my Dr. and he said that it could be the inner ear, since then I have had 3 more episode, one that lasted for 3 hours, and Friday I will be going to a specialty, but, in the meantime I want to know more.... please help, I m very scared since May 11th I have been fine. Thank you

Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi

Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum

With the brief history you have provded its difficult to pin-point the probable cause of your problem. There are various reasons which can cause dizziness and nausea, to mention a few:
1. Meniere's disease
2. Cervical spondylosis
3. Vestibular neuronitis

Do not worry! All are treatable causes. Consult an apt ENT specialist.
