What Causes Frequent Head Rushing And Restricted Movement In Head?

I have been experiencing head rushes very frequently and with limted head movement. I have experienced them by preparing food and cleaning up after my toddler. I also got one while kneeling and putting my head down while playing hide and go seek. I recently had a miscarriage and dont know if that could be a factor. It was a 3 weeks ago and my hormones are back to norma.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Head rushes, limited head movements, more so with preparing, food, while kneeling and so on can be due to the following:
* Hypertension causing raised pressure in arteries of scalp and brain can cause such symptoms.
* Sinusitis, as there is problem on kneeling too.
* Muscle spasms around neck causing nerve pinching and thus referred problems.
* Stress, anxiety, hormonal problems, post-abortion.
All this can be diagnosed by the following ways:
Consult a Doctor for clinical evaluation, taking vitals like pulse, blood pressure and temperature.
Examination of neck, scalp, pupils, muscle spasm so that an appropriate clinical diagnosis can be done.
Added investigations as per clinical findings to support the diagnosis and thus allow a specific treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
