Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, my boyfriend has had this spot on the inside of his bottom left eyelid for years that looks like birthmark (what is this?) and now he has been having trouble with both eyes; often this small blur spot appears in line with his vision and goes away after a few blinks and rubs like it was never there, when he sees this blur he describes it like trying to follow the black dots you see after looking at a light for too long. there is nothing inside his eyes as far as of dust or hair and so on. He is starting to get headaches more frequently then the average person also. he is 21 years old, what could be the problem?
As per my clinical experience, the blurred spots in vision may be many times part of normal physiology without any significant clinical issue. However, a detailed evaluation of eye site with fundoscopy and visual acuity chart of Snell's will give particular minor details if any alteration is there.
The headache of long duration can be related to migraine headache, tension headache, cluster type, CNS tumor or non specific. Kindly give, to your treating doctor, further details of headache as site, type, intensity, aggravating, relieving factors and else to evaluate in greater details.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, such eye lesion could be hordeolum or sty and this could be surgical condition in my opinion this need to be differentiated and better to see the ophthalmologist, for the headache he may have "Tab Acetaminophen 500 as per needed, and this may not be due to eye condition, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
