General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for the query.

Frequent Typhoid fever could be due to frequent exposure to the salmonella typhi like cook, family persons who are carriers, incomplete treatment, food and water contaminated with salmonella typhi.

So, you need to avoid the contaminated food and water, complete your treatment that is usually for 15 days if not done and to investigate if any of the persons nearby you are carriers or not.

Hope I answered your query. In case of any further questions, will be happy to help you.

Thank you
