What Causes Frequent Itching Sensation And Redness In Hands?

A couple days ago I experience itchy hands in the middle of the night. I woke up the next morning to find the palms of my hands are red but the itchy subsided. The next couple of nights I have been woken up to my hands itching again. It s been 4 days now and the redness is still there but throughout the day I can feel my pulse throbbing in both of my hands. I haven t changed laundry detergent or hand soap but I am in nursing school and started a new clinical rotation and was thinking it could possibly be the antibacterial sanitizer they use? Not sure but it s my best guess. I can t think of anything else that is causing this to happen. I am healthy, exercise regularly, and eat healthy foods. I also haven t changed anything in my diet recently.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Looks like a allergic reaction to me. Take tablet ebastine 10mg 1 × PO × BD. Try to find out the allergen. And contact your GP if condition doesn't subside.
