Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Frequent Joints Pain While Treating Narcolepsy And Sleep Apnea?
I am 55 years old. I have frequent bradycardia, insomnia , and possible narcolepsy. One doctor diagnosed me with narcolepsy and the other with sleep apnea. My joints constantly hurt and we aren t sure whats wrong. Do these symptoms match up with anything?
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. Narcolepsy can cause restless leg syndrome. And this can cause joint pains. Sleep apnea can not cause joint pains. In my opinion, we should rule out other causes fir joint pain like calcium, vitamin d3 deficiency, rheumatoid arthritis, vitamin b12 deficiency etc. So get done calcium, vitamin d3, vitamin B12 levels and if Deficiency than you may need supplements. Also get done RA factor for rheumatoid arthritis. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
