What Causes Frequent Low Grade Fever With Headache?
I have a low grade fever comes and goes over a week now. Hungrier than I ve been in years. Tired. Fatigued. Getting headache with is almost never for me. I had a short period and pregnancy test from dollar store negative. ... Some pains in uterus area but they have gone. .. any thoughts
Your complaints of low grade fever with tiredness and weakness can be due to various reasons. It can be due to low hemoglobin, deranged blood sugar levels, low blood pressure or electrolyte imbalance. It can be due to some low grade infection in the body or vitamin deficiencies. I feel that you should do temperature charting regularly for 2-3 days.
Meanwhile, you can take anti-pyretics (like paracetamol). Then you need to carry out some investigations to make a correct diagnosis. You can do complete blood count, FBS, TSH, sodium levels, potassium levels, blood culture and vitamin D levels. This will help us to make a correct diagnosis and proper treatment can be planned accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Milinda Gupta, Internal Medicine Specialist
