General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Menstrual cramps can be related to endometriosis. Endometriosis can cause painful menstrual cramping during the menstrual period and at other times of the month as well. I suggest to do a pelvic exam at a gynecologist and an abdominal ultrasound.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
