Hello! I was just wondering about a cysts my boyfriend Has. He went to a cysts expert and I would just like to get a second opinion. His cyst is very large and takes up a good portion of the upper left qudrant of his abdomen I believe, or closer to his spleen. The doctor wasn t very clear to be honest. And it affects his health quite a bit. He hasn t been eating regularly, if at all. He has frequent nausea if he tries to eat. He feels chest pains that affect his breathing severely. This doctor told him that they couldn t do anything and that surgery would be a waste and the money would be used to pay for said doctors boat. They didn t offer to drain it. They didn t offer antibiotics and was told to come back in three years. His symptoms have been getting progressively worse and I don t think it s wise to wait until it can no longer be treated. So I d just like some advice as to if this doctor is right or if we need to go somewhere else.
