What Causes Frequent Nose Bleeds With Family History Of Leukemia?
At 18 I started to have nose bleeds up until now and I am 22. Lately I have been having frequent nose bleeds. When I get really hot, upset, and in cold weather I get nose bleeds. For the past 6 months I have been without a nose bleed, but this week I had 3 nose bleeds and it s summer time. But family medical history is Thrombocytosis or Lukemia or some blood illness. I haven t any issues with my yearly blood check ups everything is normal. Could my situation be serious or is it just another usual nose bleed? Could it be cured?
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Nosebleeds are common due to the location of the nose on the face, and the large amount of blood vessels in the nose. The most common causes of nosebleeds are drying of the nasal membranes and nose picking. I suggest using proper lubrication of the nasal passages and not picking the nose. I also suggest to do a complete blood count for further evaluation.
