General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your history about your daughter having nosebleed that comes and goes.
The commonest causes are one of the following for recurrent nosebleed:
Nose pricking as habit or need or OCD that is obsessive compulsive disease.
Popping blood vessels in the front portion of nasal septum.
Vascular malformation.
Inflammatory diseases of nose and sinuses.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Take your daughter to the ENT Surgeon for Nasal Endoscopy and clinical evaluation.
Tests of blood.
Cauterisation of bleeding points if seen on nasal septum.
Nasal and oral decongestant.
Any other medicines or surgical procedure as would be required and as advised by your ENT.
Insist her not to touch or do nose pricking.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
