General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted the history about your 2 year old daughter and understood the concerns.
The problem is starting with running nose and hence this seems to be a case of recurrent adenoiditis.
This further causes infection to give fever and the blockage in posterior wall of nose causing breathing difficulty.
I would advise her the following:
Consult a Pediatrician for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations including lateral view X-ray of nasopharynx to see for adenoids, blood tests particularly CBC, AgE and as needed.
Also take a second opinion of an ENT Surgeon.
A proper course of an antibiotic, decongestant, nasal drops should help her.
Multivitamins, mineral can help to boost immunity.
Vitamin D and A tests and supplements as per requirement can help further.
Usually such treatment is sufficient.
If asthma like signs are present then a short course of steroids, and bronchodilators should help when needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant,
ENT & General Surgeon
