What Causes Frequent Sharp Stomach Pain With Nausea?
my son is 8 yrs old and wakes up in the night usually in dissociated state of mind i believe having nightmares. sometimes when he wakes he complains of sharp stomach pain. then sometimes he wakes throwing up. and usually does not remember gettng sick. ive take him to a gastroligist te said perhaps acid reflux and put him on omeprazole. period . im not sure what to tink. ?????

The possibility of having acid reflux or abdominal colic or gastroparesis or outlet obstruction etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Use tablet Ondansetron twice a day for five days.
If symptoms not improved please get it done Upper GI endoscopy and ultrasound abdomen then consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
