Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.

Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

I think you must have been at the hospital for this bone implant insertion and removal. And i am assuming you have had ryles tube feeding and some hospital food at a later date. Of course there must have been added antibiotics too.

I think what has haooened is that overall the combination of the things done may have altered the gut flora- the good bacteria in the stomach that help digest the food.

I would suggest a simple course of probiotics to restore the gut flora. Once this has been replaces, I think you will feel better as the food is better digested, thereby reducing the gas production and therefore the bloating of the stomach

I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further.

I have given you the answer to the maximum considering the information provided. The results of the tests could further enhance my answer to you.

Please do understand that some details could be extracted from a detailed history and examination.
