Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Bowel habits of infants can vary over time. 6-8 times a day to once in 6-8 days can be normal. If no fever, stool is not blood stained and he is playful, nothing to worry. If it progresses, kindly discuss with your pediatrician for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
