What Causes Frequent Urge For Bowel Movements?
When i used the bathroom today it felt like i had to make a bowel movement and when i did it was only a blob of mucous and a litle bit of very soft stool, then 15 minutes later i had the urge to go again and i did poop a little and thee was also visible mucous.

well it seems like you have taken some rich fatty food lately and also there might be some associated infection...
i would suggest you to take light and healthy diet for the next few days...also take ofloxacin-ornidazole combination for 3-5 days....but if there is associated abdominal cramp or pain, take normaxin-rt instead...
