What Causes Frequent Urge To Urinate?

i have a tickle in my penis that makes it feel like i have to urinate. it is pretty constant. there is no discharge. i took a round of azithromycin and it has not changed. i recently experimented with urethral sounding (inserting a clean, sterilized rod into my urethra about halfway down the length of my penis) which i now seriously regret since it seems very likely to have caused this. that was over a week ago. is this likely to simply be irritation from that? if that is the case is there anything i can do to treat it? any idea how long this might last?

Hello,

It may be due to several causes.

For that you may require complete hemogram, urine analysis, ultrasound abdomen after urologist consultation.

Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.

In case of infection you may require antibiotics after consultation.

Keep your self hydrated.

Hope I have answered your query...
Let me know if I can assist you further.
