What Causes Frequent Urination After Taking Plan B?
Hey I took plan b about 5 days ago and I have been peeing a lot since then. No I didn t use unprotected sex but he had the condom on wrong and he flipped it on the right side but I just wanted to make sure I wasn t not pregnant so I took plan b the next day
Plan B contains levonorgestrel, a natural female sex hormone that acts an emergency contraceptive pill and used in the prevention of unwanted pregnancies from unprotected sexual intercourses if it is taken within 72 hours of unprotected sexual encounters. According to your statement, you might be having urinary tract Infection also along with the effects of Plan B. Plan B can protect you from becoming pregnant but can't protect you from sexually transmitted infections or urinary tract Infections. You can undergo a complete urine examination to rule out urinary tract Infection. But you have still doubt in mind, then you can go for urine for pregnancy 7 days after the next missed period to exclude pregnancy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
