What Causes Frequent Urination And Brown Vaginal Spotting?
Hi..removed my implanon three weeks ago.had sort of implantation bleeding a week after implanon removal that s after ovulation .it lasted two days brownish red light spotting.had unprotected sex two days ago and took morning after pill.today is 23 Nov.was expecting my periods on the 19th.I still no period but have frequent urination.took a pregnancy test twice 3 and 5 days after I saw the spotting because the sex was unprotected.but it was negative. Could I be pregnant?
If the pregnancy test is done at least 5 weeks after the previous menstrual period (not from the spotting) very likely you are not pregnant. Still it would be safer to repeat the test in another 3-4 days with the first urine in the morning to increase the accuracy of the test and rule out pregnancy. If your periods do not come in the next month but you continue to have spotting or if you notice any pain in the pelvic area you will need to see the doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
