What Causes Frequent Urination And Clear Sticky Strand Discharge From Penis?

Once in a while after urination, I notice a clear stick strand at the end after trying to force what feels like remaining urine in my bladder. This happens after pressing on my urethra between my prostate in penis and pulling forward. I ve been diagnosed with possible overactive bladder, hence the constant feeling of needing to urinate, even immediately after doing so. Is this something to be concerned about?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You need to discuss with urologist and may need medical therapy to decrease the urge with anti-cholinergic medicine. However avoiding caffeine containing fluids, less fluids after evening may help.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
