What Causes Frequent Urination And Excessive Vaginal Discharge?

I had sex 4 days ago and recently I ve been having to pee a lot. It doesn t hurt when I pee, I just get sudden urges. However, once I pee and I clean up I still have the feeling that I have to pee more. I just noticed a lot of discharge, but it s clear and watery as it usually is. What could it be?

Hello,

Frequent urination after sex can be a symptom of developing UTI. However, it can be overactive bladder or PCOS.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by a Urologist. Get routine blood test done. Get Urinalysis (C/S & R/E) done to detect UTI.

You may require to do Imaging tests to rule out any other pathology causing you discomfort.

If the tests are positive for UTI, you will be treated with a course of antibiotics & anti inflammatory medicines. Stay adequately hydrated.

If you are on proper contraception, you shouldn't worry. But early pregnancy may also present with frequency of urination.

The size of the uterus increases & may cause urgency to urinate. Get clinically assessed or get urine test done if you are not on proper contraception.
