What Causes Frequent Urination And Swelling At The Opening Of Penis?

Im not circumsized. the tip of my penis is swollen. I can urinate with no burning. I think its more that i dont dry the urine from myself as I urinate alot. When I pull foreskin back to clean for a few seconds, it can be hard to push forward to cover my penis. I need an otc antibiotic cream to kill the infection. What do you recommend. Iv had infection for 2-3 yrs untreated till last summer.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
What problem you are facing could be due to infection underneath the foreskin of the penis.
Kindly do the following to overcome it.
1. Take sitz bath with warm water twice a day.
2. Rinse the area with mild antiseptic like Povidine-iodine twice daily.
3. After drying, apply Neomycin with Hydrocortisone cream.
4. Apply water-based lubricating cream or lotion at night times.
5. Avoid sexual activity till the lesion subsides completely.
In case it doesn't get better in about 3 days with the above measures, you need to consult Surgeon without further delay for clinical evaluation and management.
