What Causes Frequent Urination And Tiredness?

Hello! 2 weeks ago I had either food poisoning, or 24 hour bug. I was vomiting for 4 hours. I had no diahrrea. I drank Gatoraid to replenish eltrolytes. I was able only to have clear soup, tea, and Ginger Ale. Since then, I ve noticed that my energy has not fully returned. I notice that I get up 3 times in the night to go to the bathroom and feel tired when I wake up in the morning. I feel more like myself in the evening after having dinner. I eat 3 meals a day, no snacks, drink 8 glasses of water a day. I m on Sertraline, Estrogel, Progesterone, 0.05 Lorazapam, Wellbutron. I have no other health issues. What do you think is going on medically?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Dehydration can trigger urine infection if any so baseline urinalysis as well as renal function tests and serum electrolytes may be needed.

Sugar levels should also be checked and if unremarkable ultrasound KUB may be needed.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
