I am taking doxazosin 2 mg and oxybutynin 5 mg each night after a biopsy of the prostate like four months ago and I have to wake up more than 5 five times a night to go to the bathroom and the urologist told me that this is because I ended up with a hyperactive bladder. A friend of mine went through the same procedure with almost the same results as mine and the doctor prescribed him Dutasteride 0.5 mg and he told me that he goes only once every night to the bathroom and urinate a lot but only once, while in my case is several times and maybe 200 cc at the most each time because I bought a male urinal and I am kind of measuring the amount every time but in the morning the male urinal is between 800 cc and almost 1000 cc, Is this normal or should I talk to my urologist in case I need to change my prescriptions for this one that my friend told me?. Are they going to work the same?, because right now I don t have a restful night sleep and my life is simply miserable tired all the time and worried because I don t know if this is going to be like this from now on.
