What Causes Frequent Urination, Excessive Thirst, Stomach Ache And Constipation In A Child?

5 yr old boy. Had strep. Got meds Now tests clear. But very frequent urination and thirst Like every 20-30 minutes Stomach ache. Have given fiber in case constipated. Been 2 weeks. Urine test ok Now sleeping. Crying/talking in sleep. Feels wet all over. Like sweaty. But body temp 96.5 Worried about diabetes? Have doc appointment tomorrow. Ok to wait til then? Or could be dangerous? Need er?

Dehydration can be caused by illness, profuse sweating, too much urine output, vomiting, or diarrhea. Diabetes mellitus: Excessive thirst can be caused by high blood sugar (hyperglycemia). It's often one of the first noticeable symptoms of this type of diabetes.
