What Causes Frequent Urination In A Diabetic While On Glycomet?

Dear si , i am 65 yrs old and i have diabetes problem. my dr has precribed me glycomet gp 3/850. twice a day . but i am suffering from excess urination- practically i have to get up for urination every 1 and half our interval i feel extreemly weak and can not concentrate on my regular activities troughout the day pl advice. i also have blood pressure problem for which i am advised to take combination of -telmisartan 40+cilnidipine 10mg.

If there is any burning with urination, urgency to urinate or abdominal pain, then it may be possible that the increased frequency of urination is due to an infection.
This can be confirmed by a visit to your doctor , if this is the case then antibiotics may be needed.

If your blood sugars are high, this would also cause this problem.

It is not a known side effect of any of the medications mentioned.
