What Causes Frequent Urination In A Person With Thyroid Disorder?

I was hoping for a little bit of and explanation on why I have what seems to me as extremely frequent urination. I am a 29 year old male and was diagnosed with Hashimotos Thyroiditis a little over a year ago. I went through the the blood test and doctor settled on 75mg of synthroid per labs and somewhat of a decrease in symptoms, I went in initially because my doctor felt a nodule on my thyroid after I went in for neck pain and just plain tired of being tired and achy all the time and could badly stay awake even after sleeping all night and most of the following evening day in and day out. I always mentioned the frequent urination to the doctors or nurses and my concern that it may be diabetes because i am positive that my grandfather had his leg removed because of diabetes, I was tested to my knowledge for diabetes and they said no. Also did some sort of prostate test for frequent urination and no again they said. Also have been tested for Lupus, and RA, and I believe there was another test in there also but it was hard to keep up with it. Any information as to why the frequent urination may be taking place would be greatly appreciated. Hope this all makes sense also.
