General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should do an STD test. You should do even the blood tests except for the urine tests. There are other possible diseases that can be transmitted.

The sore throat may be a staph infection and you may need to visit a doctor to check your throat with a light to see if you have tonsillitis. Taking antibiotics may be necessary.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
