Hello and welcome to HCM,
A clinical assessment and relevant investigations are required to know the cause of the symptoms.
Initial, a urine examination of required to assess the presence of infection in urinary tract.
Frequent urination can occur in case of
urinary tract infection (UTI).
In case of UTI, infection can spread to reproductive tract and surrounding structures.
The swelling of
clitoris can occur in cases of UTI.
If there is evidence of infection in urinary tract, appropriate antibiotics need to be taken.
If there is no evidence of infection in urinary tract, clinical assessment of the clitoris is required.
The swelling could be due to local infection of clitoris only.
In that clinical assessment of external genitalia and examination of any associated discharge is required for further treatment.
Avoid sexual activity till the infection clears away.
Thanks and take care
