Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have bubbles in my urine, and it does not seem to be from a bacteria. I went to the ER (where little to nothing was done, and I was sent home). They said that everything looks okay. I am still peeing bubbles, and my kidneys are still hurting at times.THIS IS MY VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION TO YOU: Under what conditions (many several) that bubbles end up in the urine? I know about bacterial and viral infections. Thanks for taking the time to read this question!
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. Frothy urine is seen in case of glomerulonephritis - a type of infection of kidneys. Kindly get your urine examined for albumin and microscopy. Also get a urine culture and sensitivity done to know if there is any form of infection. You may also require abdominal ultrasound scan to know the status of kidneys, ureters and urinary bladder. Kindly consult Urologist with the reports of the above investigations for appropriate management. Wish you all the best.
