The gastoenterologist would have made sure that there are no structural changes to the
esophagus and stomach, this means that you have no ulcers or erosions noted.
The sensation of fullness would likely be bloating and it is commonly not associated with any structural changes unless there is severe
acid reflux along with it.
You may want to consider eliminated foods that are more likely to cause bloating such as broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, beans, carbonated drinks, brussel sprouts, turnips, prunes.
These are some of the more common foods that cause this problem though there are a few more if elimination of these is not enough.
You should also reduce caffeine products as well.
Dietary modification may be enough but if that is not the case, then you may need medications such as
prilosec,
prevacid,
protonix, nexium.
Even though you are not having typical reflux symptoms, these medications have been known to help with bloating as well.
