Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the past 3 or 4 months, I have been having very obvious gas associated pain in my lower left abdomen. I cannot associate it with any foods or drinks I am consuming. The last abominal x-ray obtained showed no signs or diverticulitis or ulcers. What should I do next?
Your symptoms seem to be related to bloating. I recommend you to use simethicone medication.
I also recommend avoiding carbonated drinks. Avoid foods that cause gas, such as vegetables in the cabbage family. Eat slowly and use lactose-free dairy products.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
