Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My little girl is a month old this is day 2 that she has lactogen milk, but she is really strugling with Gas and then she falls asleep and brings up her (reflux maybe?) Should I switch her or give her less? She is having 6 scoops and 150ml? Ss indicated on the milk, she had wet nappies but one poo napy a day and its not runny but yellow.
Formula feeds cause abdomen bloating and pain with gas. Breast milk wouldn't cause these issues. To prevent bloating, after every feed, baby must be held upright till it burps. Avoid baby from lying down immediately after feeding. Avoid formula feed or try another formula that would be less gassy. If pain is too much that baby is crying and unable to sleep, you can use colic aid syrup.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
