What Causes General Oedema?

This person has a heart condition and chronic pain. he is on Dilaudid 4 mg q 4 hrs prn, Morphine ER 100 mg q 8 hrs, Soma 350 mg qid prn, Ibuprofen 800 mg tid and Torsemide 20 mg daily. Recently his PCP put him on Lyrica 150 mg daily. he has developed general edema. he blames it on Lyric. I don t think Lyrica causes general edema. however, I do think Ibuprofen and Torsemide are the guilty one. What do you think?

Thanks for contacting HCM.
You are using a lot of pain-killers. Pain-killers must be used very cautiously as they cause stomach ulcers.
None of these medicines is causing edema rather Torsemide can help in reducing edema.
