Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
in 1980 was diagnosed with gigantism of my left hand. would like to narrow down to more specific diagnosis.... born with large cavernous hemangeoma along with dialated artery in left arm and hand and fist and second digit are again after shortening in 1980 approx 1/2 to 1 inch larger than rest of fingers. surgery in 1980 also included ligation of 1 artery in forarm to lessen blood flow but didn't work. is this proteus syndrome or one of other syndromes and is it rare? can this be passed to my granchildren?
