What Causes Golf-ball Sized Lump In Groin Post Angiogram?
angiogram to check a repair to unburst aneurysm on thursday. yesterday after a long walk and food shopping. She noticed that area in the groin has grown to the size less than a golf ball. There is no pain or discoloration to the sight. She seems calm but I have some worry about it. Is this something to worry about ro just part of the healing process?
If the lump has developed at the needle insertion site, this indicates hematoma formation(blood leaked out of artery and forming a collection). Just apply a tight dressing and get back to your doctor.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Muhammed Aslam TK, Pediatrician
