What Causes Green Color In Vision While Suffering From Vertigo?
My daughter has no insurance. She is 49 years old and has vertigo very bad. At times she is in bed for a week at a time. This week she had a bout with what she says is vertigo, but for the first time she started seeing floaters and green color in her right eye. She says that when she has bouts of vertigo that she craves water. As a child she was also hypoglycemic. She has diabetes in her family. What could cause the green color in her vision? I cannot afford to pay for a answer. Sorry, I thought a doctor was offering to help free of charge.
The vertigo is not likely to be linked with flashes and floaters in the eye, till the vision in the eye is impaired to such extent, which may cause imbalance and unsteadiness on your feet. However, you should talk to your ophthalmologist about this, who may advise you to have a dilated eye examination to rule out any problem in the back of your eye like a torn or detached retina.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
