General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Spitting out green mucus is an indication that your immune system is weak & that you are fighting infection.

You should go for a follow up check up to your treating physician. Get physically examined. You may need antibiotics before you start getting fever or chills.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
