What Causes Green Discharge From The Eyes After Bilateral Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty?
Hello there, yes I had bilateral upper eyelid blepharoplasty one month ago. I have a green discharge , sensitivity to light etc. Swab result showed Staphyloccus haemolytic us. Treatment has been soframycin drops qid and clorsig at night. A further course of clorsig. I need to go and resee my doctor next week. It seems resistant to this medication. Is this similar to staph aureus? Id appreciate your advice. Thank you Nicole NZ

Hello,
It seems like you are having blepharitis. Since the culture of secretions has shown staphylococcus there also may be shown even the antibiotics which work on it.
Take the antibiograme and treatment depends on it.
You may need to take antibiotics orally.
