What Causes Green Discoloration Around Burnt Skin?
My daughter suffered a second degree burn from a firework over the weekend the blister has popped it is about the size of a fifty cent piece , her dad has been applying aloe Vera the burn was wrapped today for her to go to school when she unwrapped after getting home the area is all green is that normal?
Green discoloration around the burn site could be infection due to Pseudomonas bacteria.
Or it could be the due color of the aloe vera gel. Infection is associated with pain and accumulation of pus. I suggest you get a clinical assessment of the burn site.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
