Hello,

You mentioned your baby's age is 3 months and 9 days. Only and only breast milk is to be given to babies up to 6 months of age. Observe the following:
1) Only breast milk not even water up to 6 months of age.
2) Please stop giving him biscuit or any other form of solid foods.
3) Complimentary nutrition should begin only at 6th month and not before
4) The green stools are mostly due to the biscuit as it can't be digested by baby
5) If your breast milk is not adequate, you can try formula milk only after consulting your pediatrician

Here are few other causes of green stools in babies. It means baby is getting more fore milk which is watery than hind milk or thicker milk. But it's not anything to be worried, baby adjusts himself slowly. Sometimes green foods in the diet of mother giving breast milk causes green stools in baby which is quite normal no need of worry.

If baby is taking any antibiotics for any infection. If baby has jaundice, you don't need to worry unless the following signs are seen:
High fever
Baby not accepting feeds
Yellow discoloration of skin
Baby fussy and not playing well
Inactive or sluggish baby and difficulty in breathing

As your baby doesn't have any of the above signs, relax and just stop feeding him biscuit till 6th month.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

General & Family Physician Dr. Vasudha's  Response
Hi,

I feel the biscuits fed him are not digested well causing it the problem. Actually, a 3 months baby deserves only breast feeding. Please take her to a child specialist for needful antibiotics and fluid replacement and follow the feeding instructions given.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
