What Causes Green Mucus Discharge From Nose Along With Red Irritated Eyes?

My son went for his well check Tuesday and got the flu mist. Since Wednesday he has had a bad snotty/ green mucus coming out of his nose. Thursday morning I noticed his eye had a lot of discharge from coming from and later on that day it started to become red and very irritated. Now it is in both eyes nad the one eye it started in has a looks to be like a bump on it. It doesn't look like pink eye. He has also been running a fever as well.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Green colored discharge from nose and red colored eyes suggest infection in both nose and eyes.
Green colored discharge suggests infection with pseudomonas species.
Red colored eyes suggest an infection.
Thus, you need to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and management.

Thanks and take care
