What Causes Green Stools And Pain While Passing Them?

Hi last Friday my husband accidnetly gave out two month old cows milk. He did fine but tried to go until several hours later got it all out. Now he has pain while using the bathrooms after ever feeding and stools are very green is this an affect of what happened last Friday or hind milk problem? He never use to cry when going and now he does he also never have stool after every feeding and now he does should I be concerned Thanks

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history about your husband gave out months old cow's milk, has pain in abdomen and green stools, crying on going for passing stool and goes after every feed.
This is a classical case where there is a gram negative infection of the intestinal cause and in this case due to milk.
I would advise him the following in such situation:
Send the sample of stool for lab tests and also the blood.
Get started on proper antibiotic and metronidazole for getting the infection of the intestine treated and keep under clinical evaluation to see whether developing any complications.
Continue for blood tests for liver and kidney infection.
Get treated properly till you are cured.
