What Causes Greenish Vaginal Discharge Post Vaginal Labia Biopsy?
hello...i recently had a vaginal labia biopsy (1 week ago). I have had excessive discharge (almost feels like I have peed) and now have some greenish chuncks along with it. There is no odor and no itching. I recently had annual done and everything came back fine. Any thoughts?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Extensive discharge means it can be from uterus. In such case a pelvic inflammatory disease should be ruled out. A pelvic examination by a gynecologist followed by an ultrasound and a swab should be done to rule out the condition. Tuberculosis also should be ruled out by mantoux test. If there is infection proper antibiotic therapy and probiotics will be helpful. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
