What Causes Greenish Watery Stools?
hi.have a 5 months old baby who has been opening bowels 8 to 10 times a day for 2 weeks now.the stool is watery, greenish and mucoid.she is been on breast milk and formular since she was 8 weeks old. she has no signs of dehydration and does not seem sick.what can be the cause and how can i manage this

I really appreciate your concern, such diarrhea (Greenish ) could be due to viral infection (Gastritis) but more common it could be due to lack of food so care needs to be taken for proper diet and it is nothing to worry because green stool is indication of contains the bile and it will be ceased soon or becomes normal one hope this information helps.
